As Meredith starts to lose her vision on Grey's Anatomy, a few of her fellow doctors begin to open their eyes to situations that have been right in front of them all along. The Chief finally admits that his wife may have a serious problem, Lexie notices the way Jackson's been craving, and bigger issues come to the light for Cristina, Owen, Callie, and Arizona.
The episode has a few unexpected surprises (especially for April), along with more pregnancy drama and Alzheimer's talk. Ready to get into it? Just read more
Grey's Anatomy is officially on Winter break, but boy are we left with plenty to talk about for the next few weeks. Though Christmas is in the air, there are more arguments than warm fuzzies, but I guess that's to be expected with the ongoing somber tone of season seven.
It's not all harsh words though; before the episode is over, one beloved couple takes a big step forward, another takes a step back, and there's one jaw-dropping surprise that should bring some serious changes come January. Let's break it all down after the jump.
Everyone's reeling from Cristina's big decision to quit her job on this week's episode of Grey's Anatomy. Well, almost everyone. Cristina herself is too busy dancing around her unfurnished apartment, chopping off Callie's hair, and contemplating life as a "mall person" to have time to explain why she left Seattle Grace.
After a pretty tame season romance-wise (and that's saying a lot for this show), we finally get a few sparks! Jackson has eyes for Lexie, Teddy shares longing looks with an unexpected hospital visitor, and Alex and April get close. If you've been wondering when this season of Grey's Anatomy would start shaking things up, then I hope you caught this week's episode. The patients are nothing out of the ordinary — in fact, most of the doctors are tied up with trauma certification — but by the end of the day, two of the surgeons have made seriously life-altering decisions.
As Callie and Arizona pack up and prepare to leave for Malawi, Mark and Lexie work together on a plastics patient who wants to put more junk in her trunk (her words, not mine). Meanwhile, Meredith tries to assist Cristina with a patient, but Cristina's still not entirely pleased with Meredith after everything that went down on the documentary. It's a big episode for the Seattle Grace residents on Grey's Anatomy — graduation day! The underlings (well, except for Lexie) become attendings with the help of some snazzy new scrubs. It's not all handshakes and high fives though: now the training wheels are off, and the doctors have to start performing without the help of a safety net.
As for the upper level docs, each department is fighting for a million dollar grant from Chief Webber. Callie uses some shifty techniques to psych out the competition, but in the end, many of the surgeons end up sabotaging themselves during their big moments. Let's go over all the highlights after the jump.
Is anyone else still having a hard time believing that Meredith is the voice of reason on Grey's Anatomy these days? While Cristina is making very uncharacteristic decisions and Lexie is being a mean girl, Meredith is doing her best to bring them back down to earth (and coping with her own medical issues).
Callie and Arizona continue their season of what I like to call "fluff drama," and Teddy tries to defy Jackson's baby blues and his Care Bear stare. It's a run-of-the-mill Grey's episode, but there's still plenty to chat about, so let's get this party started.
The Grey's Anatomy season premiere ends on a shiny happy note with Owen and Cristina's wedding, but this week it's back to post traumatic stress. Cristina's typically the rock of the Seattle Grace crew, but this week she crumbles under pressure.
Meredith and Derek make major strides, while Mark is inspired by a freak lightning strike accident. In the end, there's not a ton of noteworthy happenings this week, but let's review what did go down — keep reading.
Still shell-shocked from last night's epic two-hour finale of Grey's Anatomy? I know I am. Even though I was prepared for Mere's pregnancy and a shooter to be lurking around Seattle Grace, I definitely didn't feel equipped for what is one of the most intense episodes of Grey's I have ever seen.
Unlike last year's big cliffhanger with George and Izzie, this one doesn't leave much to the imagination at the end of it all — but boy is there plenty to discuss. Let's get down to the gritty and grisly details when you read more
So after Mark's speech in the last episode, Lexie now has her choice between Karev or Sloan. Personally I think the Sloan scenario is a little too cutesy for my taste with her sister married to his best friend. I would much prefer Karev, I think he has been through a lot with Izzie and it is turn to have a good relationship. Who do you think she will end up with?
It's another patient-inspired-feelings week on Grey's Anatomy. When a geriatric pair of former lovers meet up at the hospital for the first time in decades, all of the surgeons start questioning their own love lives. Is it better to settle and be happy or try hard for the one that got away? Some go after what they want, while others decide to accept what's in front of them, but next week we'll learn more about which relationships are really built to last.
There's a whole lotta action (particularly in the last five minutes of the episode) and it's leading up to what should be a very juicy finale. Though, a shooter? Get into it when you read more
